Green River District: More Can Sign Up for Vaccine

File

The Green River District Health Department says more people can sign up for the COVID vaccine waiting list.

The district in western Kentucky says residents in phase 1C – with an emphasis on those ages 60 and older – can begin signing up.

To do so, residents can visit healthdepartment.org or call your local county health department to be placed on the waiting list.

The Green River department continues to vaccinate people in tiers 1A and 1B, which include health care workers, first responders, daycare workers, and those 70 years of age or older.

Kentucky residents can visit vaccine.ky.gov to determine which phase they are in, find a vaccine location, and sign-up for update notifications.

In a release, District Public Health Director Clay Horton again stressed the three W’s: wear a mask, wash your hands, and watch your distance to protect yourself and those around you.
