While some locations in Indiana and Kentucky are announcing that they’re cutting back on coronavirus vaccine distribution, Vanderburgh County is adding appointments.

Starting Tuesday, the Vanderburgh County Health Departmentis increasing the number of COVID-19 vaccination appointments.

According to a release, the health department’s Tuesday and Thursday vaccination clinics are held from 2-8pm central time. They also offer Saturday appointments from 9am-1pm.  The Indiana Department of Healthhas expanded the number of vaccinations that will be provided during each clinic.

An important note: Currently, when people sign up to get coronavirus vaccines with the state, they’re being directed to go to the C.K. Newsome Center.  That’s incorrect. Currently, all Vanderburgh County Health Department clinics are being held at the health department at 420 Mulberry in Evansville. Beginning, February 9th, they’ll be moving the coronavirus vaccine clinics to the Old National Events Plaza.
