Vanderburgh County’s COVID-19 death toll has risen by three.
The Indiana Department of Health raised the county’s pandemic toll to 246.
The agency also reported 153 new COVID infections in Vanderburgh County, with the seven-day positivity rate dipping below 13 percent.
One new COVID-related death was recorded in Dubois County, but none in Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties.
The number of hospitalized COVID patients across the 12-county district of southwest Indiana rose by one to 230, with almost 29 percent of intensive care beds reported available.
Statewide, 64 new COVID-related deaths were announced – pushing Indiana’s toll above 9,200.
The agency added more than 3,700 infections.
In western Kentucky, the Green River District Health Department announced three more COVID-related fatalities – one in Daviess County, one in Hancock County, and another in Ohio County.
More than 250 new infections were added in the seven-county district, with 56 COVID patients in the hospital.
