File

The University of Southern Indiana has a new strategic plan.

The USI Board of Trustees approved the “Accelerating Impact” plan for 2021 through 2025 at its Thursday meeting.

In a release, the university said the plan was developed through review and research incorporating feedback from more than 2,600 USI students, employees, retirees, alumni, and friends of the University.

The plan focuses on four goals: improving student success, fostering impactful engagement, elevating visibility and reputation, and strengthening USI’s financial viability.

The university said each goal has measurable objectives with supporting strategies and action steps.

Goal details can be found at usi.edu/strategic-plan.

The university board also adopted and updated vision and mission statements and a set of core values for direction and decisions in the years to come.
