Authorities have released the identity of the man who was struck and killed by a car on Diamond Avenue.
Indiana State Police identified the victim as 35-year-old Sean Vaughn of Evansville.
In a release, ISP said Vaughn tried to cross all three lanes of westbound Diamond, west of Stringtown Road, on foot at about 8:35 Tuesday night.
He was hit by a car driven by 19-year-old Kevin Greb.
Vaughn was taken to Deaconess Midtown Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Greb was not injured.
Police say the investigation continues.
