Kentucky State Police say it started just before 5:00 Sunday evening, when the driver of a speeding car refused to stop on the US 60-Bypass in Daviess County.

In a release, the KSP said the driver led officers on a chase covering a variety of city and county roads, until the car turned onto Millers Mill Road near Spring Hill Drive.

The KSP said a trooper performed a legal “pit maneuver” which forced the driver to lose control and stall the car.

State Police said troopers surrounded the vehicle and the driver made “aggressive threats” towards the officers.

Police said a trooper deployed her Taser which allowed officers to take into custody 27-year-old Garret Stone of Owensboro.

The KSP said Stone faces numerous charges including Wanton Endangerment, Fleeing or Evading, Driving on a Suspended License, and possession of illegal drugs.
