One person is dead and another is injured following a house fire in Henderson County.

Volunteer firefighters were dispatched to 16701 Bluff City Road, east of Henderson, at about 3:30 Monday morning.
Henderson County Coroner Bruce Farmer told WNIN one person was able to escape the fire but a second person was found dead inside.
Farmer said the body of the deceased would be transported to Louisville for an autopsy on Tuesday, after which officials hope to release the identity.
Multiple media reports said an injured person was also taken from the fire to a hospital.
An investigator from the Kentucky State Fire Marshal's Office responded to the scene.
The home appeared to be a total loss.
