Old National to Renovate Former EVSC Building

File

Old National Bank is renovating a building next door to its main campus in Downtown Evansville.

ONB purchased the building at the corner of Main and 2nd streets, which previously housed EVSC offices.

In a release, Old National spokeswoman Kathy Schoettlin said the building is being completely redesigned to focus on the needs of ONB clients and team members.

Old National says it’s a $4 million renovation and will use union labor to complete the work.

The bank says multiple departments and about 90 ONB team members will re-locate to the building, which will be called the ‘ONB Hub.’

Old National also says it’s partnering with the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana and the Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District to commission a local artist to paint a mural on the side of the building.
