Early voting is underway at five public libraries in Evansville.
The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library says local registered voters can cast ballots at Central, McCollough, North Park, Oaklyn, and Red Bank libraries.
The voting is available from noon to 6:00 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and noon to 5:00 on Fridays, through October 30th.
The libraries will NOT be a polling place on Election Day.
Voters are urged to social distance while in line and everyone is required to wear face coverings inside libraries.
In a release, EVPL CEO-Director Scott Kinney said the library system looks forward to “providing a safe and welcoming space for voters to cast their ballot.”
EVPL locations will not provide in-person library services during the early voting.
Curbside pickup service is available.
