Three people were injured – one critically – in a crash on Lynch Road.
It happened at about 6:00 Wednesday morning on Lynch at I-69.
In a release, Evansville Police said an accident reconstructionist determined a car heading east on Lynch turned into the path of an S.U.V. traveling westbound.
The EPD said two occupants in the car were taken to a hospital, with a passenger in “critical condition.”
The lone occupant of the S.U.V. was also taken to a hospital, treated, and released.
Police did not release the names of the injured.
The crash and subsequent investigation forced officers to shut down Lynch at I-69 during the morning rush hour.
