A Newburgh man faces 25 counts of sex crimes against children.
The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 59-year-old John Rebmann.
In a release, the sheriff’s office said it received a complaint of child molesting and child exploitation involving Rebmann on August 25th.
Alleged victims were interviewed at Holly’s House in Evansville and deputies executed a search warrant at Rebmann’s Newburgh apartment – where they say they found “child sexual abuse material.”
The sheriff’s office said information developed during the investigation indicated multiple incidents of child molestation and the production of child pornography since at least 2006.
The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office is in the process of identifying victims and more charges are possible.
If anyone has more information about Rebmann, they’re asked to contact the Warrick Detective’s Office at 812-897-6180.
Rebmann is being held in the Warrick County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 cash bond.
