The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office has conducted an autopsy on the body of an Evansville man found dead Monday afternoon.
Police discovered 56-year-old Burk Jones deceased in the 300 block of N. Main Street.
In a release, Coroner Steve Lockyear said Jones suffered “multiple blunt force trauma.”
Evansville Police detectives collected evidence at the scene but there’s no word of any arrests in the case.
Authorities ask that anyone with information on Jones’ death contact Evansville Police.
