One person is missing after a water emergency on the Ohio River at Owensboro.
In a release, Owensboro Police say officers and firefighters were notified of the emergency shortly before 2:00 Monday morning.
Occupants of a boat said the craft began taking on water and all five people on board were forced into the river.
Four individuals were able to safely swim to shore, but a 20-year-old man was unaccounted for.
A number of agencies were involved in the search, including a crew from the Henderson Fire Department.
