Henderson Police are investigating a shooting that happened near outdoor basketball courts.
The Henderson Police Department says officers responded to a report of shots fired near the JFK Basketball Courts at Vine and Alves streets at about 9:10 Thursday night.
In a release, the HPD said when officers arrived they were told a shooting victim had walked to Deaconess Hospital in Henderson.
Police said the victim suffered a non-life threatening wound to the left arm.
The person’s name was not released.
