Police have arrested a man described as a “serious violent felon” accused of a shooting in Evansville.
EPD Sgt. Nick Winsett says 33-year-old Seth Matthew Wrinkles was apprehended early Tuesday morning at an East Side apartment.
In a release, Winsett said the Evansville VIPER Unit and U.S. Marshals took Wrinkles into custody without incident.
He was wanted for a shooting Sunday night that wounded a woman in the 1100 block of W. Louisiana St.
She was treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound to the abdomen and released.
Wrinkles has an extensive criminal history and is the son of convicted killer Matthew Eric Wrinkles, who was executed in 2009.
