Another 22 COVID Cases in Vanderburgh County

COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Vanderburgh County. 

The Indiana State Department of Health reported 22 new local cases in its Tuesday report, raising the county’s overall infections to 570.

Vanderburgh’s death toll held steady at six.

A new free testing site will open Thursday at the former HealthSouth facility on Covert Avenue. The testing will be conducted from 3-7 p.m.

Testing is also available at the CK Newsome Center at Walnut and Heidelbach from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Statewide, the death toll rose by 19 on Tuesday to 2,524.

The state agency also reported more than 300 new cases, pushing the overall total to more than 530,000.
