The Children’s Museum of Evansville plans to reopen next week.
In a release, cMoe says “it’s time to play again,” but Executive Director Stephanie Terry says the downtown facility will reopen in a “safe way.”
Changes will include limited capacity, timed ticketing, and temperature checks due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Guests over the age of 3 and all staff members must wear a face covering.
Social distancing floor markers and reminder signs will be found throughout the museum.
Climbing structures and the Wet Deck will remain closed until social distancing restrictions are lifted.
cMoe will not open on Mondays for deep cleaning and maintenance.
On days when it’s open, kids will each receive a mini-activity kit, providing one-user supplies for their visit.
cMoe will reopen next Wednesday to member families and then welcome the general public starting Sunday, July 5.
Limited capacity summer camps are scheduled to begin July 13.
