An Evansville man is dead after his vehicle ran off a county road.
Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 7700 block of Darmstadt Road on Monday, after a caller said an SUV had crashed overnight -- and someone appeared to be inside.
Deputies arrived and confirmed a deceased man was in the vehicle.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner later identified the victim as 29-year-old Austin Bell of Evansville.
In a release, Coroner Steve Lockyear said an autopsy was conducted but a cause of death was not determined.
He said the cause of Bell’s death is pending lab results.
