COVID Funding Available for Small Businesses

File

Small businesses in southwest Indiana are eligible for COVID-19 assistance.

The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs is offering $950,000 in grants for high-risk categories of businesses with 25 or fewer employees.

Businesses include food and beverage, personal care, professional services, and retail.

The Economic Development Coalition says the funds may be used for working capital, continued operating expenses, or to help with remote work expenses.

The businesses can receive up to a $10,000 grant with no local match.

Communities receiving the funding include Oakland City, Poseyville, Princeton, Newburgh, and Warrick County.

Grant applications will be available from Friday until next Friday, May 22.

The applications are available at https://www.southwestindiana.org/covid-19-grants/.
