Evansville Police are looking for an ATM that was stolen from a downtown neighborhood.
In a release, the EPD said officers were called to 37 Adams Avenue, by the Haynie’s Corner Market, at about 4:15 Sunday morning for a theft in progress.
Several witnesses told responding officers that they saw a light colored, two-tone, four-door Ram pickup truck take off with an ATM after chaining it to the rear bumper.
The truck was last seen headed toward Veterans Memorial Parkway.
Witnesses described the driver as a white man who was 6 feet tall and very thin.
Anyone who recognizes the truck or knows anything about the case is asked to call Evansville Police Detective Jeff Hands at 812-434-8262.
