COVID 19 cases continue to rise in Vanderburgh and Warrick counties, as Indiana's death toll tops another milestone.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported 57 new deaths in its Tuesday report, pushing the statewide toll beyond 900 -- to 901.
The agency reported more than 650 new cases, while the overall tally of positive cases approached 16,600.
The state said the number of people tested in Indiana has topped 87,000 with about 19 percent of them testing positive for the coronavirus.
Warrick County’s number of confirmed cases is up to 84, with 14 fatalities.
Vanderburgh County’s case total is up to 126 with one previously reported death.
No new cases were reported in Posey or Gibson counties.
