COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Vanderburgh and Warrick counties, as Indiana reports its largest single-day death count.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported Thursday that the number of confirmed cases in Vanderburgh County rose to 49.
The county’s death count held at one.
Warrick County’s number of confirmed cases rose to 30 with no deaths, while no new cases were reported in Posey or Gibson counties.
The agency reported the statewide death toll rose by 43 to 245.
More than 6,300 people have tested positive for COVID-19 out of more than 32,000 tested in Indiana.
