One person was wounded and a number of cars were damaged in a drive-by shooting on Evansville’s West Side.
Police say officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Dresden in the Fulton Square Apartments at about 4:15 Monday afternoon for a report of shots fired.
In a release, the EPD said the first officers to arrive found a person who had been grazed by a bullet on their arm.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of what police called a “minor wound.”
Witnesses told officers that a dark colored vehicle with tinted windows had pulled up and the occupants began shooting.
Police said multiple vehicles were struck by bullets and officers recovered shell casings.
