Authorities have arrested a man accused of a shooting in Henderson.
Police arrested 36-year-old Joshua Blackwell of Henderson on Tuesday.
He’s accused of shooting 26-year-old Hobert Miller in the head a week earlier on Mill Street near Washington.
In a release, the HPD said Blackwell admitted to the shooting but claimed Miller was about to stab him.
Police said Blackwell is a convicted felon who had “suspected methamphetamine” in a backpack at the time of his arrest.
Blackwell faces charges of attempted murder and probation violation.
Henderson Police say more charges are expected.
