Owensboro Declares War on Potholes

Owensboro City Government

Owensboro officials want to know where to find potholes that need patching.

The city has launched its “War on Potholes,” in preparation of cold weather and the difficulty in obtaining hot asphalt mix for repairs.

The Owensboro Street Department is asking residents to report potholes by calling City Action at 270-687-4444.

Officials say they need specific locations, with a street address or intersection.

They say city crews will patch potholes November 4th through November 15th.

Owensboro officials say the goal is to have every pothole in the city identified and patched as quickly as possible.

Again, the City Action phone number is 270-687-4444. Potholes can also be reported online at cityaction@owensboro.org.
