Police are investigating a shooting in Downtown Evansville.
Police were dispatched to 211 Oak St. at about 5:35 Tuesday morning.
A woman reported her former boyfriend came to her apartment after being shot.
She said he didn’t know who shot him.
The man was taken to a hospital where he underwent surgery.
In a tweet, the EPD said officers interviewed the woman and no arrests had been made.
Police said they had no information on a suspect.
There’s also no word on the name or condition of the wounded man.
