Henderson Police continue to investigate a shooting that claimed the life of a young Evansville man.
Officers were called to Thomason’s Banquet Hall at 702 Atkinson Street early Saturday and found 18-year-old Jaiwuan Wadlington of Evansville “unresponsive" in the intersection of Atkinson and Loeb streets.
In a news release, the HPD says Wadlington was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say two other people were wounded, leaving one of them in critical but stable condition.
Henderson Police arrested 18-year-old Japaris Baker of Henderson on a charge of assault.
