An Owensboro man has been arrested for alleged sex crimes involving children.
Kentucky State Police arrested 46-year-old Brandon Sally on charges related to rape, sodomy, and promoting and distributing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
The KSP says its Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering Sally sharing files of child sexual exploitation online.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant Thursday at an Owensboro home, where police say they found equipment used to facilitate the crimes.
In a news release, the KSP says Sally is charged with 98 felony counts.
He’s being held in the Daviess County Detention Center.
