Officials have lifted the boil advisory on Evansville’s East Side.
The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility issued the advisory following a main break on Lincoln Avenue.
The advisory area covered a large area, mostly between Burkhardt Road and the Vanderburgh-Warrick county line.
Officials say subsequent water tests showed no contamination, so they lifted the boil advisory on Sunday.
