Police have confiscated a stolen gun and 14 pounds of synthetic marijuana while executing parole warrants in Evansville.
Indiana State Police says the department's All Crimes Policing Squad assisted parole agents on several Evansville residents with parole violations Wednesday afternoon.
In a news release, the ISP says while tracking down one of the suspects, troopers and agents found a stolen handgun inside a north side Evansville home.
Troopers also received information about a large amount of synthetic marijuana inside an Evansville home on the south side.
Troopers and state parole agents responded, conducted an investigation, and say they found 14 pounds of suspected synthetic pot.
A suspect has been identified.
Once the investigation is complete, the ISP says a report will be forwarded to the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s Office for possible charges.
