Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday for the Indiana Primary Election.
In Vanderburgh County, registered voters can choose from 22 vote centers to cast ballots.
The biggest contested races are on the Republican ballot, where Mike Duckworth, Steve Hammer, and Vernon Stevens and are vying for the county commission seat Bruce Ungethiem is vacating for a run at the Statehouse.
Democrats have not offered a candidate for the commission seat.
There’s also a GOP primary race for Vanderburgh County Council, where Incumbent Jim Raben faces a challenge from David Christmas.
In the 8th District Congressional race, incumbent Republican Larry Bucshon is once again challenged by Richard Moss. Bucshon beat Moss by 30 points in the 2016 GOP primary.
The primary winners advance to the November election.
