State hospital worker drowned in lake

The Vanderburgh County Coroner has released the identity of the man who died on the Evansville State Hospital grounds.

Authorities said 65-year-old Keith Lamb of Evansville was riding a large lawn mower when the vehicle slid into a lake last week.

Police said the mower overturned and pinned Lamb in several feet of water.

Investigators said lamb was underwater for some time before being discovered.

The coroner’s office said in an email that an autopsy determined that Lamb drowned.

Authorities said Lamb was an employee of the State Hospital.
