One man is dead and two others are wounded following a shooting and stabbing in Evansville.
It happened Tuesday evening in the 900 block of Independence Avenue.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office said in an email that one of the people involved in the attack, 62-year-old David James Chinn, died at St. Vincent Hospital.
An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
Evansville Police said in a tweet that two people were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds and the third suffered stab wounds.
Police said the incident may have begun as a domestic dispute, reportedly involving one of the men and a woman.
The woman was not injured.
