This year’s Newburgh’s famers market not only brings joy to human ears. Visitors are thrilled to bring their dogs and find something special for them.

“We even found organic dog treat for her. You never find it anywhere else an organic dog treat," said Ferhan and EmelOzadali who fed their dog Cleo an organic dog treat.

Tina Wheeler, owner of The Welcome Waggin, prepares dog treats with ingredients like coconut oil and parsley. She says it feels safe to know exactly what your dog is eating.

Aside from dog treats you can find other fresh ideas like honey wine and goat milk soap and lotion.

However, if you want to take home more traditional products, owner of the Stonewall Farm Bobby Cannon says his grass-fed and pastured meats are not only organic but clean.

“The term refers to how many people have touched your food before it gets to your plate. So, before the meat comes to your table, the farmer’s touched it and the processor’s touched it and then it’s on your table,” said Bobby Cannon, owner of Stonewall Farm.

So, if you enjoy organic produce and some quality time with your furry friend, your local farmers market may have it all, making this summer a family oriented adventure.
