Three teens arrested for threats

Source: ISP

Three teenagers have been arrested on felony charges for allegedly making social media postings that caused authorities to close an area school last Friday.

Indiana State Police said Paoli schools were closed because of two social media posts that appeared the day before threatening to do harm to local schools.

In a release, ISP said they began investigating immediately after the threats were posted.

Monday afternoon, they arrested three juveniles, one 16-year-old and two 17-year-olds. They are charged with Intimidation, a Level 6 felony.

All three were taken to a juvenile detention center.  State Police said they won’t comment on how they caught the teens, but their message is that these crimes are investigated and that there are life-long consequences for making the bad choice of threatening a school or an individual.
