Police searching for missing Evansville woman

Evansville Police are asking for your help, as they look for a young woman feared to be in “grave danger.”

19-year-old Aleah Beckerle was last seen in the early morning hours of Sunday at her home at 403 E. Iowa Street.

Police describe Beckerle as bi-racial, handicapped, and totally dependent on family care.

She’s in a wheelchair, cannot walk, and doesn’t speak other than a few mumbled words.

Beckerle also can’t feed herself and has to be fed with foods prepared for her specifically. She requires medications and suffers from severe seizures.

A news release from Evansville Police says the woman's physical and mental condition -- and other factors developed by detectives -- indicate she may have been abducted.

And police say her health issues put her in “grave danger.”

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Aleah Beckerle is urged to call 911, Evansville Detectives, or WeTip at 1-800-78-CRIME.
