Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting outside a memorial service.
In a release, Evansville Police say 20-year-old Khirrek Morris faces charges following the investigation into the November 1st shooting.
Morris is accused of firing a gun in the parking lot of Memorial Baptist Church following a service for Antonio Bushrod, who was shot and killed the weekend before.
A bullet passed through the front windshield of a passing woman's SUV on Canal Street.
She was wounded in the face but her injuries weren't life-threatening.
Two other people inside the vehicle -- including a toddler -- were not injured.
Morris faces preliminary charges of Criminal Recklessness, Possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, and criminal mischief.
