Ivy Tech says enrollment is up at its Evansville-area facilities.
The community college reports its total fall 2019 headcount was up 5.7%, at nearly 4,200 students as of census day, Sept. 11.
Enrollment was just below 4,000 at the same time a year ago.
In a news release, Ivy Tech says the numbers include traditional students in Evansville and the Princeton and Tell City Career & Technology Centers, as well as students enrolled through such initiatives as Achieve Your Degree, Early College High School, Senior Scholars, and Workforce Alignment courses.
Earlier this month, USI reported a 2.6 percent drop in total enrollment.
