FREE Guided Art Tour of "Pieces of the Past: America at 250 Years" Exhibition

On Friday September 4 from 11 am to 1 pm, the Evansville Museum will be hosting its monthly Club. This FREE event, sponsored by Trilogy Health Services, Solarbron, and Park Avenue Securities & The Owen Team, is open to all adults and takes place from 11 am to 1 pm on the first Friday of (almost) every month.

This month's presentation will be a guided art tour of the "Pieces of the Past: America at 250 Years" exhibition.

This tour will be led by Evansville Museum Virginia G. Schroeder Curator of Art Cheyenne Miller.
The tour is free to attend. Museum doors open at 11 am, and the tour will begin at 11:15 am.

Join the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science this summer in recognizing the United States of America’s sesquicentennial anniversary. Come experience Pieces of the Past: America at 250 Years, a special exhibition featuring historical artifacts, untold stories, artwork, and photographs to share the story of our community within the broader national context. This exhibition will be on display from Summer through Fall 2026.

--- About the Presenter ---

Cheyenne E. Miller is the Virginia G. Schroeder Curator of Art at the Evansville Museum. She currently serves on the University of Evansville Friends of Art Board. Miller received her Master of Arts in Cultural Resource Management from the University of Evansville in 2025 and her dual Bachelor's degrees in Art History and World Languages and Cultures in 2022. In her curatorial practice, Miller seeks to provide diverse educational experiences for the tri-state region through purposeful exhibition curation, interpretation, and design.

The Club is where you can meet new people, take a break, and learn new things. Each Club features a special presentation or tour. Board games & snacks are provided. The Club includes the Kids' Zone, a place where your kids and grandkids can play while you enjoy The Club activities. Your kids will always be safely within your eyesight.
There is no fee to attend the club on First Fridays, but donations are gratefully accepted. RSVPs are not required, but larger groups are encouraged to call ahead.
