Authorities have arrested a man in western Kentucky accused of killing an Evansville teen. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The Evansville Police Department says 18-year-old Keaton Howard was located and taken into custody in Morganfield.
Howard faces a preliminary charge of murder for the shooting death of 17-year-old James Brown.
He was found deceased in the 800 block of Madison Avenue in Evansville Sunday night.
The EPD says the U.S. Marshals Service, Kentucky State Police, Indiana State Police, Union County Sheriff’s Office, and Morganfield Police helped locate and arrest Howard.
He’s expected to be extradited to the Vanderburgh County jail at a later date.
