Authorities have released the identity of the man shot to death by an Evansville police officer this week.
The coroner’s office says 46-year-old Ryan Morrow died at the scene of Tuesday’s officer-involved shooting on E. Illinois St.
Meanwhile, Evansville Police say they’re trying to determine whether a woman was wounded by the police officer, suspect Ryan Morrow, or both. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
Police released body camera video of Tuesday’s confrontation in the 1500 block of E. Illinois St.
We will warn you we’re about to hear multiple gun shots.
The officer approached the home where a woman had been reportedly taken by a man who had been ordered by a judge to stay away from the woman.
The video shows the suspect answering the door with a gun pointed at the officer:

The officer killed the suspect.
The woman then emerged from the home wounded and was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
EPD Sgt. Anthony Aussieker initially said her wounds were caused by the suspect:
"The victim now has two injuries. So we are in the process of determining if that is from the suspect or from our officer-action shooting. So that's going to take some ballistic testing and other factors to determine."
Aussieker says the suspect and the woman had been in a long-term relationship.
A young woman on the scene was not injured. No officers were hurt.
