Authorities have released the name of the teen shot to death Sunday night in Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The Vanderburgh County Coroner says 17-year-old James Brown was found deceased in the 800 block of Madison Avenue.
Officers located Brown on the ground after reports of shots fired shortly before 11 p.m.
The coroner’s office scheduled an autopsy for Tuesday.
The EPD says detectives interviewed witnesses and canvassed the area for evidence.
