A teenager is dead after a shooting in Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The EPD says officers were dispatched to the area of Washington and Kentucky avenues just before 11:00 last Sunday night.
Multiple 911 callers reported hearing gunshots in the neighborhood and a subject down on the ground in the 800 block of Madison Ave.
Officers arrived and found a 17-year-old juvenile deceased at the scene.
The coroner’s office has not yet released the victim’s name.
Detectives interviewed witnesses and canvassed the area for evidence.
