Hurricane Remnants Could Drench the Tri-State

NWS Paducah

Forecasters say the remnants of Hurricane
Isaias could bring more than an inch of needed rain to the Evansville area

The remnants of Hurricane Isaias are expected to bring rain to the Tri-State this weekend. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

The National Weather Service says Evansville could see more than an inch of rain when the storm system moves in from the south.

Forecasters also say we could see 30-to-40 mile an hour wind gusts.

The weather service cautions the exact track of the system remains uncertain.

The rainy weather is expected to move into the area Saturday afternoon.
