Police have arrested Natalia Fulkerson, 46, of Evansville on charges of Arson and Criminal Recklessness after Sunday's house fire on SE 2nd St.

A house fire near Downtown Evansville has been ruled intentional and police have arrested a suspect. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Evansville Fire Department originally ruled Sunday evening’s blaze in the 1400 block of SE Second Street as accidental.

Two civilians suffered minor burns and the fire displaced two adults and one juvenile.

The EFD says video footage was later obtained and reviewed, leading investigators to change the determination of the fire's cause.

Police then arrested 46-year-old Natalia Fulkerson of Evansville.

She faces charges of Arson and Criminal Recklessness.

Fulkerson is being held in the Vanderburgh County jail on a 20-thousand dollar bond.
