Yet another heat wave is moving into the Tri-State. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Tuesday is the start of “meteorological fall” but it will feel much more like summer.
The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory in effect through Friday.
Forecasters say humidity levels will be a little lower than previous hot spells but temperatures will be potentially higher, with the mercury expected to reach 100 degrees on Thursday.
The daily heat index this week is forecast to reach as high as 106.
The weather service also says we may see some record warm overnight low temperatures.
