An Evansville leader is taking the reins at the YWCA. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The organization has announced the appointment of Anne McKim as its next Chief Executive Officer.
McKim succeeds longtime CEO Erika Taylor, who’s transitioning to a national leadership position after 16 years of service to YWCA Evansville.
McKim headed up the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana for 13 years, before the council folded at the end of last year.
YWCA Evansville Board President Toni Hamilton says McKim brings an exceptional combination of proven nonprofit leadership, deep community relationships, and a genuine commitment to Evansville.
McKim says she’s delighted to become part of the “essential work the YWCA has been doing in our community for over 115 years.”
McKim’s other leadership roles include the Public Education Foundation, EVSC Foundation, Haynie’s Corner Arts District Association, Mayor’s Public Art Commission, and the Indiana Arts Commission’s Regional Arts Partnership.
