Authorities have recovered the body of a missing boater in Posey County. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
Black Township Fire and Rescue says crews located the body of Richard Leinenweaver in the Ohio River, south of Slim Island, on Thursday.
On Saturday, the department rescued two juveniles who were holding on to driftwood in the river after the boat they were in overturned.

But a third occupant of the boat, Leinenweaver, was missing.
The search continued until Thursday, when crews recovered his body.
The Black Township department urges everyone to keep Leinenweaver’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
The department also says it’s “forever grateful” to mutual-aid partners and the community for support and assistance.
