Authorities have recovered a body from the Ohio River near Angel Mounds. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
A tow boat captain spotted it in the water near the Warrick-Vanderburgh County line at about 7:20 Thursday morning.
Multiple agencies responded and determined the body was in Warrick County.
It was recovered and taken to the Angel Mounds Boat Ramp on Lynn Road and turned over to Warrick County and DNR officials.
There’s no word yet on the identity of the body.
Authorities say it’s not related to the case of a missing boater downstream in Posey County.
