Authorities have arrested 20 suspects in a drug trafficking sweep in Owensboro. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The Owensboro Police Department says officers arrested the final outstanding suspect connected to Wednesday's large-scale, multi-agency investigation on Thursday.
The OPD says its officers, the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the FBI executed eight federal search warrants and seven state warrants.
During the operation, investigators say they seized more than four pounds of methamphetamine, 16-and-a-half grams of cocaine, more than four pounds of marijuana, fentanyl pills, 29 firearms, and cash.
